Saliba’s Extended Care Pharmacy is expanding to Tucson this summer. With 100-plus employees and more than $35 million a year in revenue, the Phoenix-based company provides pharmacy services to the long-term care industry.

Owner John Saliba founded the pharmacy in 1999 to serve the assisted-living industry. By 2003, it was serving 3,000 assisted living patients all over Arizona. Today, it serves more than 6,000. Saliba said he will start out with three employees in Tucson to support growth in Southern Arizona.  “If we provide value and provide world-class service, the financial end of it is going to be there,” he said.

At Saliba’s Extended Care Pharmacy, our goal is to provide the most advanced and convenient ways of administering and delivering medications to patients in skilled care, assisted living and independent living facilities. We specialize in the OPUS medication packaging system, a color-coded system of medication cassettes that helps caregivers pass medications much more efficiently while greatly reducing the opportunity for error. But we also offer an array of other packaging options to meet your specific medication needs, including prescription vials and unit-dose bubble packs. Our multi-dose packaging can be provided in both monthly fill and short fill options.
